Philosophy
Ram Cellars makes their wines in the SE Industrial section of Portland, crafting small batches of low intervention wines with love! They focus on natural winemaking techniques designed to showcase the characteristics of each varietal and season, utilizing native yeast ferments, neutral oak and stainless steel for long term aging, and no fining or filtration of their wines before bottling!
Their signature wines include Malbec, Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc, Counoise, Chardonnay, Riesling, skin-contact fermented white wines, including their Orange Fraiche (100% Riesling), and a variety of fun rosés each year. They work with fruit sourced from a variety of sites in Oregon and Washington.
